Job summary

GR Production Services is seeking an E&I Technician to provide safe, reliable maintenance across well site facilities in the Surat Basin, Queensland.

You will perform planned, preventive and breakdown maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment, diagnose faults, and troubleshoot control systems while upholding safety and quality standards. Collaborate with maintenance and operations to minimise downtime and ensure reliable production.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Electrotechnology is required.
QLD Electrical Licence – Fitter and Mechanic is required.
Certificate III Instrumentation is required.
EEHA certificate and LVR/CPR training.
High Voltage Switching certificate and WP license preferred.
Open driving license is required.
High Risk Work Licence – WP held.

Responsibilities

Carrying out planned, preventive and breakdown maintenance across well site electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Fault finding, diagnostics, testing and repair of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
Maintaining and troubleshooting field instrumentation, control systems, telemetry and related equipment.
Performing electrical installations, modifications and maintenance in accordance with relevant standards, procedures and site requirements.
Completing routine inspections, testing and calibration of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Responding to breakdowns and maintenance requests across the well field in a timely and professional manner.
Accurately completing maintenance records, work orders and relevant documentation.
Working closely with the maintenance and operations teams to minimise equipment downtime and maintain production reliability.
Identifying potential equipment issues and contributing to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Understand and comply with HSEQ systems and processes, including Life Saving Rules.
Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders and embrace a learner mindset that seeks continuous improvement.
