Job summary

Harnex is seeking an Electrical Harness Production Assembler in Eton, QLD, AU. This role involves hands-on assembly of wiring systems for heavy machinery and mining equipment, with training provided on the job.

Qualifications

What You Will Be Responsible For

Reporting to the team leader, this hands‑on role will be both challenging and rewarding. You will be directly involved with the assembly of wiring systems directly related to cranes, trucks, agricultural equipment and mining machines.

Some key responsibilities:

• Measuring, counting, cutting, stripping, and terminating in accordance with instructions
• Use of hand tools such as side cutters, crimpers, solders andstrippers
• Reading job cards and drawings and following verbal and written instructions

About you...

Ideally, candidates will have some experience working with some form of electrical or assembly, however we provide all the training on the job!

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Proven experience in electrical harness assembly or related field (preferred).
• Skills: Proficient in using hand tools, crimpers, and soldering equipment.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and assembly instructions (preferred).
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and a team player with a can-do attitude.

The full time position is offered as a permanent full time role,working a38 hour week over either a 4 or 5 day roster.

The part time/casual position is offered as a permanent part time role with a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week over 3 continuous days.
