Ampcontrol Limited is seeking an Electrical Team Leader in Perth to guide field service teams, ensure safe delivery of electrical projects, and maintain strong customer relationships. You will oversee testing, maintenance and on-site activities with a focus on quality and safety.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement across industrial environments, with a strong safety culture and stakeholder communication at its core.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in an Electrical discipline.
• Experience leading or supervising electrical teams within industrial, mining, resources, utilities or infrastructure environments.
• A strong commitment to safety and ability to lead safe work practices in the field.
• Experience with fault finding, maintenance and testing of electrical systems and associated infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, leaders and team members.
• Experience with Standalone Power Systems is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical teams on customer sites, ensuring work is completed safely and to project requirements.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with SWMS and safety procedures.
• Coordinate daily work activities, resource allocation and scheduling to meet project outcomes.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and pre-start meetings to drive safe practices.
• Develop and mentor team members through coaching and guidance.
• Assist with documentation control, testing records, job packs and reporting.
• Collaborate with customers to provide professional communication and high-quality service delivery.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations to enhance performance.
