Job summary

Clough Limited is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join the Bidding Energy & Resources Team in our North Sydney office. You will prepare accurate contract value estimates and cost plans for tenders and studies, travelling as needed, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align estimate, methodology and schedule.

The role requires 4+ years in estimating, experience in energy/resources, and proficiency with database estimating packages. Flexible and remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with significant on the job experience.
• Experience with database estimating packages.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate first principals estimates and proposals within strict deadlines.
• 4+ years’ minimum experience in an estimating role.
• 4+ years’ experience within the Energy and Resources sector.
• Experience with data base estimating packages.

Responsibilities

• Review requests for proposals and tenders and contribute to pricing in tender responses.
• Review tender documentation to determine scope and terms.
• Develop and implement first principle estimates and pricing models.
• Interpret drawings to identify direct estimates and contingencies.
• Collate material take-offs and costs in clear spreadsheets or databases.
• Analyse benchmarks and historical costs.
• Collaborate with procurement to prepare BoQ for quotations.
• Coordinate with Planning to align estimate and schedule.
• Ensure estimates and cost plans comply with procedures and codes.
