Job summary

Perfect Automation Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to support the electrical side of its packaging machinery operations. You will assemble, install, test, calibrate and repair electrical equipment and control systems, ensuring Australian standards and customer production needs are met.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician.
• Sound knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor control, sensors, drives and automated machinery.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and commission electrical equipment and control panels on packaging machinery.
• Test and calibrate electrical components to ensure safety and performance compliance.
• Modify electrical installations to suit customer production requirements.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in workshop and at customer sites.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning and after‑sales service.
