Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or a closely related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Competence in electrical testing, fault-finding and calibration using standard test instruments.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and WHS requirements for electrical work.
• Clear communication and a professional, customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and commission electrical equipment and control panels on packaging machinery.
• Test and calibrate electrical components to ensure safety and performance.
• Modify electrical installations to suit customer designs and production needs.
• Diagnose and repair faults to minimise downtime.
• Collect data and perform electrical tests for analysis and reporting.
• Interpret drawings and specifications for imported machinery and assist with documentation.
