Job summary

Gilmour Space Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join a dynamic team building rockets in Australia. You will contribute to hardware product development, from design to verification, collaborating with engineering and production teams at our Bowen facility between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and, ideally, NV1 clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualification.
NV1 security clearance eligible preferred.
Ability to operate in dynamic, fast paced environments.
Demonstrated resilience in high stress situations.

Responsibilities

Deliver hardware products as part of a team of Electrical Engineers.
Develop Electrical Engineering designs, processes and activities.
Act as a Responsible Engineer for hardware and/or software produced by the Electrical Engineering team.
Follow product development processes from requirements to verification/validation.
Conduct technical analysis and design sizing of solutions.
Assist investigations, troubleshooting, and fixes/repairs.
Support R&D activities and collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders.
Ensure activities comply with company policies and procedures.
