Job summary

Goodman is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Data Centre Development team in Melbourne. You will support the delivery of hyperscale data centre projects, review design docs, respond to queries, and help develop technical standards.

This hands-on role requires independent problem-solving, strong communication, and experience with power distribution and critical systems. Familiarity with Revit and MS Office is preferred, and you will collaborate with consultants, contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering; relevant data centre/critical facility experience.
• Strong capability in power distribution and critical systems design.
• Knowledge of hyperscale data centre requirements and design basis documents.
• Familiarity with Victorian electrical codes/standards is a plus.
• Proficient reading of drawings, schematics and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support design, delivery and optimisation of electrical systems for hyperscale data centres.
• Review technical documentation, RFIs, design packages and submittals.
• Contribute to electrical equipment selection and energy efficiency measures.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Provide technical advice during design reviews and delivery coordination.
• Identify risks and opportunities for performance improvement.
