  • Supporting procurement, scope definition, value optimisation and commercial outcomes
  • Ensuring design intent is carried through to commissioning, handover and operational readiness
What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in data centre, mission critical, infrastructure or complex building developments.

  • Advanced knowledge of data centre building services design, including critical mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, fire protection, controls and integrated systems requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or related Engineering discipline; postgraduate qualification in design management, project management or business is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of hyperscale and colocation services design requirements, basis of design, resilience strategies, redundancy concepts, commissioning expectations and operational considerations.

  • Significant experience in data centre, mission critical, infrastructure or complex building developments, including leadership across services design management and delivery phases, with particular reference to the Melbourne and Victorian AHJ requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary building services consultants, contractors, vendors and technical stakeholders across complex projects or portfolio programs.
  • Experience in services design governance, consultant performance management, technical design reviews, commissioning coordination and management of complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong experience in RFQ/RFP processes, consultant procurement, scope development, budget input, vendor coordination and commercial negotiations for services packages.
