Job summary

Akkodis in Brisbane is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support defence vehicle programs. This hands-on role focuses on design, integration, verification and sustainment of electrical systems across multidisciplinary projects.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience delivering engineering outcomes in product/manufacturing contexts.
Knowledge of electrical design principles, power distribution and control systems.
Experience producing technical documentation and engineering reports.
Ability to analyse technical problems and develop practical solutions.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and modify electrical system designs and schematics.
Support integration of electrical and electronic components into platforms.
Produce engineering documentation, specifications and reports.
Conduct investigations and root cause analysis related to product and system issues.
Support verification, validation and testing activities.
Participate in design reviews and engineering change processes.
Collaborate with mechanical, systems, manufacturing and project teams.
Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and safety requirements.
