Job summary

SAGE Automation, part of the SAGE Group, seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for Brisbane. The role delivers design solutions across ELV and LV electrical systems and requires advisory support to Lead Engineers and Project Managers.

You will develop supporting documentation and maintain strong customer relationships as the technical expert on projects. The successful candidate will apply AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules, drive design accuracy, and contribute to a diverse range of industry

Qualifications

Engineering qualifications or 3+ years verifiable electrical design experience.
Ability to apply AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules to designs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver electrical design solutions for projects within schedule and budget.
Prepare supporting technical documentation (URS, FDS, Traceability, Validation Plans).
Support Lead Engineers and Project Managers in technical and management aspects.
Develop customer relationships as the technical expert on projects.
Mentor engineers in design activities.
Apply electrical wiring and panel building solutions based on ELV and LV designs.
Assist with scope development and project engineering tasks.
