Zusammenfassung

Capstone Industries is a Melbourne-based designer and manufacturer of docking equipment. The successful candidate will join the business engineering team and contribute to electrical system design and development for LV/MV/HV equipment, including switchboards and MCCs.

You will generate AutoCAD drawings, circuit diagrams, and BOMs, and program PLCs using LD/FBD/ST techniques. You will also lead the electrical assembly team and support field service with technical guidance.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics engineering required.
• Experience in a similar electrical design/engineering role.
• Proficient with AutoCAD tools (Inventor, Fusion 360).
• Strong technical aptitude and problem solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards.

Aufgaben

• Design LV/MV/HV electrical systems including switchboards and MCCs.
• Create electrical drawings, diagrams, and BOMs in AutoCAD.
• Design PLC programs and implement LD/FBD/ST programming methods.
• Research and develop new equipment and improvements.
• Supervise electrical assembly team and provide technical support to field service.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be part of the business engineering team and will be directly responsible for the following areas

• Design of LV/MV/HV Equipment Electrical systems including Main Switchboards, Motor Control Centres, PLC panels, control panels, and field devices.
• AutoCAD generation of electrical general assembly drawings, circuit diagrams and BOM's.
• PLC program design and programming (LD, FBD,ST techniques)
• Research and development of new equipment and existing equipment advancements.
• Provide supervision and guidance to the business' electrical assembly team.
• Provide electrical technical support to the business field service team.

To be considered for this role, you will bring the following:

• Degree Qualified - Batchelor of Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics)
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
• Experience with electrical design software such as AutoDesk Inventor & Fusion 360.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple functions simultaneously in a faced paced environment.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Standards
