Job summary

Capstone Industries is seeking skilled tradespersons to support our Victoria Field Service Team. The role is mobile, based out of our Melbourne branch, and involves on-site repairs and preventative maintenance on materials handling equipment, with travel to Melbourne's eastern and south-eastern suburbs.

Applicants should hold an Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Engineering or Fabrication) and demonstrate experience with hydraulics, welding, mechanical repairs and low-voltage electrics.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in Engineering or Fabrication.
• Experience with hydraulics, welding, mechanical repairs and low‑voltage electrics.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site repairs and maintenance of materials handling equipment.
• Participate in the 24/7 on-call customer support roster.

Job description

Capstone Industries is seeking skilled and dependable tradespersons to strengthen our Victoria Field Service Team, supporting ongoing growth and expanding customer commitments.

This position is mobile, based out of our Melbourne branch, but operating predominantly in Melbourne's east and south east. The selected technician will perform on-site repairs and preventative maintenance on materials handling equipment.

Equipment Including

• Scissor Lift Tables
• Tail lift

Suitably qualified candidates living in Melbourne's eastern and south eastern suburbs will be considered for the role.

Qualifications & experience

Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Engineering, Fabrication).

Demonstrated experience working with hydraulics, welding, mechanical repairs, and electrics (Low voltage).

Valid drivers license

Tasks & responsibilities

Carry out on-site repairs and maintenance of materials handling equipment.

Participate in the company's "on-call" 24/7 customer support roster.

Salary & Conditions

Hourly rate dependent on qualifications, skills, and experience.
