Job summary

AKD Softwoods is seeking a proactive Electrical Maintenance Leader to establish predictive and preventative maintenance systems for electrical equipment, monitor safety compliance, and develop a maintenance schedule to minimise downtime.

You will provide technical leadership to electrical teams, collaborate with cross‑functional colleagues on maintenance strategies, and ensure the weekly plan is fit for purpose and executed, supporting ongoing installations.

Job Description

Focus of the role:

• Establish and maintain predictive and preventative maintenance systems for electrical equipment and systems.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Develop and manage the electrical maintenance schedule, ensuring minimal downtime and operational disruptions.
• Provide technical leadership and support to electrical teams, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative maintenance strategies.
• Lead, manage and develop the Electrical Department employees.
• Ensure the weekly electrical maintenance plan is fit for purpose and is executed.
• Support ongoing installations and maintenance work Improving outcomes and standards.
