AKD Softwoods is hiring a Saw Technician for our Caboolture site in South East Queensland. The role focuses on maintaining sawing machines and ensuring top quality performance using the latest milling technology.
You will work with the team to service and monitor equipment and develop multi-skilled capabilities across hands-on tasks. The ideal candidate has a trade certificate in Saw Doctoring or related Manufacturing/Process Improvement experience and leadership as a plus.

We are offering multiple opportunities for an energetic and self motivated qualified Saw Technicians to join our team in pursuit of sawing excellence. This position is fundamental to ensuring our product and our processes are to the highest quality.
This is a full-time position based at our Caboolture site in beautiful South East Queensland and will involve all aspects of sawing performance using the latest technology available. This position would suit a hard working, skilled and experienced applicant that is looking for career change and growth with an innovative timber manufacturing business running the latest technology in Saw Milling equipment.

Qualification Preferences: Complete or almost completed Trade certificate in Saw Doctoring, Manufacturing/Process Improvement experience, Leadership.
