Job summary

GrainCorp is looking for an Electrical Control Systems Technician to join our Design & Innovation team. The role supports development, implementation and delivery of electrical and control systems across multiple capital projects, collaborating with Project Managers, Operations teams and key stakeholders.

You will be involved in scoping, programming, commissioning and integration of control systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and control systems engineering.
• Hands-on with PLC and SCADA systems; design, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and project delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Control systems scoping and concept development.
• PLC and SCADA programming.
• Control system commissioning and performance testing.
• Integration with IT infrastructure and documentation management.
• Support project delivery across phases and smaller control or electrical-based projects.
