Job summary

Energize Industries in Brisbane is seeking a Project / Design Manager for Electrical Construction to lead multiple commercial electrical projects with autonomy and close collaboration with builders, site teams and senior management. You will mentor foremen, coordinate design, Energex requirements and project resources, drive budgets and profitability, and help implement scalable systems as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Around 10 years’ experience in electrical construction and communications.
• Proven project management experience within commercial construction.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• A sound understanding of project financials and commercial outcomes.
• A positive, solutions-focused attitude and a willingness to take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from early design and planning through to completion.
• Leading, mentoring and supporting foremen and site teams.
• Managing project budgets, profitability and labour forecasting.
• Building strong relationships with builders, consultants and contractors.
• Coordinating design, Energex requirements and project resources.
• Helping improve systems and processes as the business grows.
