Job summary

Zinfra is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to lead internal teams and contractors delivering programs across electricity network assets on the east coast. This practical, hands-on leadership role requires ownership of day-to-day field delivery, clear direction, safety, quality, time and cost control.

You will plan resources with project managers, monitor progress against milestones and KPIs, manage risk, and ensure timely work closures, accurate timesheets and reporting.

Qualifications

• A relevant civil trade qualification or other formal technical qualification.
• Experience supervising construction, maintenance or operational work on electricity networks.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop field-based employees and contractors.
• Strong planning, communication, problem-solving and risk management.
• Working knowledge of health, safety, environmental, contractual and industrial requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and coordinate employees and contractors across allocated electricity network works.
• Plan labour, resources and delivery activities to meet safety, quality, programme and budget requirements.
• Monitor productivity, utilisation, milestones and KPIs, addressing issues before they affect delivery.
• Manage operational risk and make practical decisions during outages, emergencies and other time-critical situations.
• Ensure work closures, timesheets, reports and supporting documentation are completed accurately and on time.
