Job summary

GrainCorp in Numurkah is seeking a casual Plant Operator to monitor the oilseeds crushing facility, perform fault finding, and support quality testing. The role involves hands-on maintenance, cleaning, and daily administration within a 24/7 operation.

Candidates should bring experience in food manufacturing, a solid mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to high safety and hygiene standards. Weekend work is required on a rotation basis; training and safety programs are provided.

Role: Plant Operator - Casual

We currently have a vacancy for a casual Plant Operator based at our world class manufacturing site in Numurkah. The primary objectives of the role will involve monitoring of the plant within the oilseeds crushing facility, fault finding and trouble-shooting, quality testing, administration and cleaning.

The plant operates on a 24/7 basis including weekend and night shifts required on rotation.

About your experience

You will present with sound experience within the food manufacturing environment combined with a strong mechanical aptitude. A strong team player, with an eagerness to learn and develop your skills into leadership, you are not afraid to get your hands dirty. As a safety-focused individual, you will have experience working to high safety and hygiene standards within the workplace.
