Job summary

Visy is offering an Electrical Apprenticeship at the Smithfield Beverage Can plant. You will learn from experienced tradespeople and develop practical skills across electrical maintenance, fault finding and automated manufacturing systems.

This day-shift role runs from 6:00am to 2:30pm, providing hands-on experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment and the opportunity to graduate as a qualified Electrician with strong career pathways within Visy.

Qualifications

• Completed Year10 and above.
• Genuine interest in electrical systems, automation and manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with a hands-on learning approach.

Responsibilities

• Learn electrical maintenance, fault finding and automated manufacturing systems.
• Complete a 4-year Electrical Apprenticeship in an FMCG environment.
• Gain hands-on experience with PLCs, motors, sensors, control systems and other electrical equipment.
• Graduate as a qualified Electrician with practical experience in large-scale manufacturing.
