Job summary

ACE is seeking a hands-on Engineer to deliver PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI and industrial communications solutions for electrical utility, infrastructure and industrial projects across Australia. This role covers the full project lifecycle, including requirements review, design, programming, configuration, documentation, FAT, SAT, site commissioning, troubleshooting and client support.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ Australian experience in control systems, automation, SCADA, RTU or electrical systems engineering.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident.

• Deliver PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI and industrial networking solutions across projects.
• Cover full project lifecycle from requirements to commissioning and support.
• Work with platforms such as Siemens PLCs, SEL RTAC, Schneider PLC, Hitachi RTU, Ignition and GeoSCADA.

Job description

This role covers the full project lifecycle, including requirements review, design, programming, configuration, documentation, FAT, SAT, site commissioning, troubleshooting and client support. You will work with platforms such as Siemens PLCs, SEL RTAC, Schneider PLC, Hitachi RTU, Ignition, GeoSCADA and industrial networking equipment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ Australian experience in control systems, automation, SCADA, RTU or electrical systems engineering, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work safely under pressure.

Experience in power system, water/wastewater, substations, renewables or critical infrastructure will be highly regarded.
