Talon Recruitment Solutions in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer for a senior role delivering design, configuration, integration, and commissioning of PLC, SCADA, and DCS on international projects.

You will support FATs, testing, site delivery, and handover, troubleshooting complex issues, and mentoring junior engineers. Travel overseas is expected; Australian work rights are required.

Competenze

• Extensive hands-on experience with industrial control systems (PLC, SCADA) – Rockwell/Allen Bradley skills are mandatory.
• Proven track record in FATs, commissioning, and site delivery, ideally on international or remote projects.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and make sound decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Experience in mining, energy, or heavy industrial projects is highly regarded.
• A professional service mindset – focused on delivering practical, long-term value to clients and operators.
• Comfortable contributing to project execution and working collaboratively within a team environment.
• Australian working rights and a genuine willingness to travel internationally.
• RPEQ, CPEng, or strong willingness to pursue registration.
