Job summary

Coengineer is seeking a Control Systems Engineer with 2–6 years of industry experience to join our dynamic team, focusing on automation and control systems across Water, Manufacturing, Rail and Transport Infrastructure sectors. The role involves design, development, commissioning, testing and support of electrical and automation systems, with learning opportunities from senior engineers and a track record of delivering automation projects.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven PLC programming experience.
• Experience in SCADA design and development.
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We are currently recruiting for a Control Systems Engineer with 2-6 years of industry experience to join our dynamic team. The role involves a variety of projects and services-based work, focused on automation / control systems and solutions, primarily in the Water, Manufacturing, Rail and Transport Infrastructure industries.

We are looking for someone with passion and drive who will be responsible for:

1. Design, development, commissioning, testing and support of electrical and automation systems

2. Learning from more experienced engineers whilst executing on project tasks

3. Consistently meeting predefined project and engineering targets

4. Contributing to the development of best practice methodologies, software, systems, procedures and uptake of the latest technologies.

The successful applicant will have:

• 2 to 6 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong technical aptitude, including computer and programming/coding skills
• Proven experience working with Siemens systems
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and a proactive willingness to learn
• Experience in PLC programming.
• Experience in SCADA design and development .
• Strong process improvement capability.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery within the automation industry
• Demonstrated experience in delivering and executing automation projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
