Job summary

Softtest Pays Pty is seeking a Salesforce developer to join the Digital team of the NDIA project in Melbourne. The role focuses on building AI-enabled capabilities in Salesforce using Claude Code, with strong emphasis on REST integrations and modern DevOps practices.

You will work on Platform Events, DataRaptors, and CRM cloud implementations across Sales, Service and Community Cloud, while adhering to accessibility standards. A dynamic, agile environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on Salesforce Vlocity experience with Apex, LWC, Omniscripts, Flexcards, DataRaptors.
• Experience with OOP, frameworks and design patterns.
• Experience with source control tools (GitLab) and package-based development, Jira, VSCode.
• Experience building and working with integrations (REST APIs, Platform Events).
• Experience in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and knowledge of Governor limits.
• Familiar with accessible design and development approaches.

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop AI development capabilities using Claude Code in Salesforce.
• Work with REST API services and integration patterns.
• Collaborate with source control workflows (GitLab, Bitbucket, GitHub) within Claude Code context.
• Support Jira, Bitbucket and Agile toolsets within a Salesforce CRM development team.

The National Disability Insurance Agency, (NDIA) is undertaking major work programs to deliver innovative fit-for-need ICT-based solutions to improve the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The NDIA seeks a Salesforce developer to join the Digital team within the Scheme CRM Platforms Branch.

Key duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• · Establishment and development of AI development capabilities utilising Claude Code in Salesforce development
• · Undertake work in REST APIs services
• · Undertake work with Source Control tools (e.g. Gitlab, Bitbucket, GitHub) from a Claude Code context.
• · Support work with Atlassian Jira, Bitbucket and Agile development tool sets.

Criteria

Essential criteria

• 1.3-5 Years of Hands-on Experience in Salesforce Vlocity platform using specifically Apex, LWC, Omniscripts, Flexcards. Integration procedure and DataRaptors.
• 2.Experience working with OOP, frameworks & design patterns
• 3.Experience working with Source Control tools (e.g. GitLab) & package-based development, Atlassian Jira, VSCode and DevOps practices.
• 4.Experience in building and working with integration (example REST APIs, Platform Events).
• 5.Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud implementations and familiar with Salesforce Governor limits.
• 6.Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
