Job summary

Paxus - Technology + Digital Talent is seeking a Salesforce Developer / Software Engineer for an on-site contract role in Canberra (ACT) or Melbourne (VIC). The ideal candidate will configure and extend Salesforce CRM, develop with Apex and Lightning Web Components, and deliver automation in an agile Kanban/Scrum environment.

Candidates must hold current Salesforce certifications and have hands-on experience across administration, development, and customization.

Qualifications

• Current Salesforce certifications: Platform Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer.
• Hands-on Salesforce experience: administration, development, configuration, and customization.
• Proven delivery of Flows, Apex, and LWC in production environments.
• Experience automating processes on the Salesforce platform.
• Familiarity with agile software delivery practices.

About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer / Software Engineer to support the development and configuration of a Salesforce CRM environment in a fast-paced delivery team. You’ll work under the direction of the Senior Salesforce Developer in an agile (Kanban/Scrum) environment, contributing to high-quality outcomes across configuration, development, and workflow automation.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and enhance Salesforce CRM features to support business processes
• Build and implement Salesforce Flows and workflow automation
• Develop using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to design and deliver solutions
• Support release planning and delivery, contributing to continuous improvement of tools/processes

Essential requirements

• Current Salesforce certifications:
  • Platform Administrator
  • Platform App Builder
  • Platform Developer
• Strong hands-on Salesforce platform experience: administration, development, configuration, and customisation
• Proven delivery of Flows, Apex, and LWC in production environments
• Demonstrated ability to engage business areas and automate processes on the platform
• Experience working to agile software delivery practices

Desirable

• Azure DevOps and/or Jira experience
• Exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud, OmniStudio, Service Cloud Voice
• Additional certs (nice to have): Platform Developer II, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant
