Job summary

NDIA is seeking a Salesforce developer to join the Digital team within the Scheme CRM Platforms Branch in Canberra. The role focuses on AI-enabled Salesforce development using Claude Code, REST API work, and strong source control discipline.

Essential criteria cover Apex, LWC, Omniscripts, Flexcards, integration patterns, and Salesforce Clouds, with a focus on accessibility and scalable design. Canberra based with Australian resident eligibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Vlocity and Apex/LWC/Omniscripts/Flexcards.
• Experience with integration procedures and DataRaptors.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns and REST integrations.
• Familiar with Salesforce Sales/Service/Community Clouds and governor limits.

Responsibilities

• Establish AI development capabilities utilising Claude Code in Salesforce development.
• Undertake work in REST APIs services.
• Work with Source Control tools (e.g. Gitlab, Bitbucket, GitHub) from a Claude Code context.

The National Disability Insurance Agency, (NDIA) is undertaking major work programs to deliver innovative fit-for-need ICT-based solutions to improve the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The NDIA seeks a Salesforce developer to join the Digital team within the Scheme CRM Platforms Branch.

Key duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• · Establishment and development of AI development capabilities utilising Claude Code in Salesforce development
• · Undertake work in REST APIs services
• · Undertake work with Source Control tools (e.g. Gitlab, Bitbucket, GitHub) from a Claude Code context.
• · Support work with Atlassian Jira, Bitbucket and Agile development tool sets.

Criteria

Essential criteria

• 1.3-5 Years of Hands-on Experience in Salesforce Vlocity platform using specifically Apex, LWC, Omniscripts, Flexcards. Integration procedure and DataRaptors.
• 2.Experience working with OOP, frameworks & design patterns
• 3.Experience working with Source Control tools (e.g. GitLab) & package-based development, Atlassian Jira, VSCode and DevOps practices.
• 4.Experience in building and working with integration (example REST APIs, Platform Events).
• 5.Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud implementations and familiar with Salesforce Governor limits.
• 6.Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
