Job summary

Softtest Pays Pty is seeking an experienced Digital Application Tech Lead to drive development of Outsystems web applications from Canberra. You will lead technical specialists, provide detailed designs, code reviews and hands-on troubleshooting while ensuring adherence to security and privacy standards.

Your role includes coaching team members, creating patterns and documentation, and guiding requirements through to delivery in a governed architectural framework.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex, responsive web applications on Outsystems.
• Provide detailed design and proof of concept for components, workflows and RBAC/transactions.
• Provide systems analysis and inputs to requirements, solution and UX designs for OutSystems apps.
• Lead other technical specialists to develop, test and deploy Outsystems applications.
• Provide technical direction, code reviews, troubleshooting and hands-on problem solving.
• Ensure solutions align with project outcomes and architectural designs and patterns.
• Ensure development, coding, privacy, and security standards are adhered to.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and development best practices.
• Provide coaching and knowledge transfer to ASIC support staff as required.

Key duties and responsibilities

As a Digital Application Tech Lead, you will be accountable for:

• Playing an instrument role in designing and developing complex, responsive web applications on Outsystems.
• Provide detailed design, proof of concept of common components, workflows and functionalities such as role-based access control, transaction lifecycle management etc.
• Provide systems analysis, technical recommendations, and inputs to business requirements, solution and UX designs for OutSystems applications.
• Lead other technical specialists to develop, test and deploy Outsystems applications.
• Provide technical direction and development support, including code reviews, troubleshooting and hands-on problem solving.
• Ensure that the solutions and services delivered are aligned with project outcomes and architectural designs and patterns.
• Ensure that development, coding, privacy, and security standards are adhered to
• Create and maintain technical documentation, development best practices and guidelines.
• Provide advice, coaching and knowledge transfer to ASIC support staff as required.
