Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of WHS Australian legislation and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Experience with regulatory reporting or permits is advantageous.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to developing, implementing, and refining EHS programs to comply with state and local regulations.
• Contribute to regulatory reporting and permit applications.
• Contribute to management of chemical inventories, SDSs, scrap materials, and waste.
• Support hazard control and accident prevention programs with the site safety committee.
• Assist with incident report preparation to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Help develop training programs for safe and healthy work environments and counsel management on safety practices.
• Identify, measure, and improve EHS processes and communicate EHS information to employees.
