Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an experienced Australia EHS and Quality Specialist to lead and embed a robust environmental, health and safety program across Australian operations. You will ensure compliance with WHS regulations and ISO 14001/45001/9001 standards, drive continuous improvement, and build a strong safety culture by partnering with field teams, operations and management nationwide.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in OHS, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
• Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent Australian EHS qualification; NEBOSH highly regarded.
• 5–8 years of EHS experience in service, HVAC, construction or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and ISO standards; audits experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion EHS culture across Australian offices and field operations.
• Own and maintain the EHS Management System and ISO standards.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying risks and implementing solutions.
• Lead audits, inspections and incident investigations; manage corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and risk management programs.
• Provide EHS guidance to operational teams and support regulatory compliance.
• Manage EHS reporting, workers’ compensation, licensing and compliance registers.
• Own ESG and sustainability reporting and regulatory relationships across Australia.
