Siemens Mobility is seeking a safety-focused professional to provide EHS and Rail Safety support on the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport Project. You will promote safety, monitor site activities, and ensure compliance with WHS legislation while coordinating inductions and training.

The role requires experience in rail safety, strong stakeholder engagement, and flexibility to support testing and commissioning phases across complex environments.

Qualifikationen

• Experience providing EHS and rail safety support across construction and commissioning activities.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management in rail projects.
• Ability to conduct audits, inspections and incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.

• Monitor Rollingstock Operations compliance for Rail Safety during testing and commissioning phases.

In this role you will:

• Provide EHS and Rail Safety support across construction, testing and commissioning activities for the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport Project.
• Promote a continuous improvement culture and implement best-practice safety management systems in the workplace.
• Monitor daily site activities, provide advice on risks and controls, and ensure compliance with company procedures, WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Support WHS induction and training for employees and subcontractors, including subcontractor compliance management.
• Conduct audits, site inspections and incident investigations, recommending corrective actions where required.
• Monitor Rollingstock Operations compliance for Rail Safety as part of ONRSR accreditation, with flexibility required during testing and commissioning phases.

• Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
• ICAM training preferred, with White Card and RISI card also preferred.
• Identified Rail Safety Worker, with experience working across complex stakeholder environments.
