Job summary

Otis Australia is seeking an experienced EH&S Specialist based in Perth to support safety programs across Western Australia and South Australia. This permanent full‑time role will report to the EH&S Director and embed best‑practice safety across the region.

You will lead EH&S management systems, conduct risk assessments, lead incident investigations, deliver safety training, and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement with some intrastate travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Graduate Diploma in OHS (or related discipline).
• 3–5 years EH&S experience in high‑risk environments (e.g. construction, lifts, facilities management).
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO 45001.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide EH&S leadership by influencing, coaching and supporting leaders, supervisors and field teams to achieve safe, compliant outcomes.
• Implement and maintain Otis EH&S management systems, project EH&S plans and corporate programs.
• Identify, assess and control workplace risks through proactive field engagement, inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Lead and support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Deliver training, toolbox talks and communications that reinforce safe work practices and proper use of PPE.
• Monitor and report EH&S performance and drive continuous improvement.
