Job summary

Otis is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Port Melbourne, Victoria, to lead New Equipment and Modernisation projects. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence while guiding installation teams and coordinating with customers, builders, consultants, and inspectors.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in Building/Engineering/Construction Management, 3–5 years of PM experience, and strong contract and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in Building, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Full Australia working rights and a current Australian driver's license.
  • 3–5 years' project management experience, ideally in elevator/escalator, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage New Equipment and Modernisation projects in line with SIP.
  • Lead installation teams to achieve safety, quality, schedule, and financial targets.
  • Monitor project programs and site activities against approved schedules.
  • Attend site meetings and provide leadership to installation labour and subcontractors.
  • Plan workforce requirements and allocate resources effectively across projects.
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and motivate field teams for high performance.
