Job summary

St Columba's OSHC in Wilston is seeking a casual Educator to support before and after school care and vacation care for up to 150 children. This casual role is approximately 12–15 hours per week with flexible shifts and easy access to public transport.

You will provide warm, nurturing care, design inclusive activities, and build strong relationships with children, families, and the CEEC team. Relevant First Aid/CPR and Blue Card are desirable, with training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Hold or be working towards a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services as per ACECQA guidelines.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain) for working with children.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or willingness to obtain.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and caring casual Educator to join our vibrant team at St Columba's OSHC, working before school, after school, and during vacation care. This is a casual role of approximately 12–15 hours per week in a conveniently located service with great access to public transport.

Job Requirements:

• Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines (desirable)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko 1-2 & 3-4).
• Effective oral and written communication skills within the workplace
