The Y Australia on the Gold Coast is looking for energetic Educators to join our Outside School Hours Care team. You will help create a safe, inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during holidays.

This casual role offers structured and flexible activity programs, opportunities for professional development, and a chance to contribute to children's wellbeing and confidence through play.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Blue Card or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with activities during Vacation Care.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive space where children feel safe and supported.
• Promote children's wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play.

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Varsity Lakes Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.

What you’ll do

• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
