Job summary

YMCA Queensland is looking for passionate casual Educators for their Yandina Outside School Hours Care team. You'll create a fun and safe environment for primary-aged children during before and after school sessions, as well as during vacation care.

In this role, your responsibilities will include supervising activities that promote children's wellbeing and confidence. The YMCA values community and provides support, training, and a positive work-life balance for its employees.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards relevant qualifications in children’s services.
• Strong responsibility for creating a safe environment.
• Possess current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Have a valid Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Assist with hands-on activities during Vacation Care.
• Create a welcoming space for all children.
• Promote children’s wellbeing and friendships through play.

About The Role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Yandina Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.

What You’ll Do
