Job summary

YMCA Queensland is hiring Casual Educators for the Varsity Lakes Outside School Hours Care team on the Gold Coast. You will supervise before and after school care, run activities during holidays, and foster a safe, inclusive space that supports children's wellbeing and confidence through play.

We value fun, energy and creativity, with opportunities for career coaching and progression within a not-for-profit organisation. First Aid, CPR and Blue Card are preferred or achievable.

Qualifications

• Requires or actively studying toward a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Proven ability to engage and supervise primary-aged children in care settings.
• Commitment to safety, inclusivity and play-based learning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions
• Run or assist with Vacation Care activities
• Create welcoming, inclusive spaces for all children

About The Role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Varsity Lakes Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.

What You’ll Do
