Job summary

YMCA Woodcrest Outside School Hours Care is recruiting energetic Educators on a casual basis to support before and after school programs for primary-aged children. You will help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment and participate in Vacation Care activities to keep children engaged.

The role emphasizes promoting wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play, with opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with Vacation Care activities.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe, supported and inspired to grow.
• Promote children's wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play.

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children's wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Woodcrest Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you'll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you'll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.
