Jobbeschreibung

Palmwoods Community Kindergarten is seeking a dedicated Educator who is passionate about early childhood education, committed to best practice, and eager to work as part of a supportive and collaborative team. This is a permanent part-time position on Monday, Tuesday & alternate Wednesday. This role supports our kindergarten program for children aged 3–5 years and works closely alongside the Early Childhood Teacher to deliver a rich, engaging and play-based learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support a high-quality, child-led kindergarten program guided by the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Work collaboratively with the Teacher to implement engaging learning experiences.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, committee members and the wider community.
• Contribute to children's learning documentation.
• Maintain safe work practices and support daily operational routines.
• Manage tasks independently and meet daily timelines.
• Participate in community events and occasional activities outside regular working hours.
