Job summary

St Benedict's Kindergarten, Mango Hill invites passionate educators to join a casual term-time role. Work during school terms (40 weeks) with shifts that fit families, in a nurturing, creative learning environment that values every child's individuality.

You will engage children through play-based learning, support wellbeing, and collaborate with a supportive team to deliver quality experiences. Queensland Blue Card and First Aid are required or in progress; CEEC commitment to safety is

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Mandatory Blue Card and relevant safeguarding training or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications or willingness to obtain.

About You:

• Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 completed or willing to complete — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Hold (or are willing to complete) National Safeguarding Training
• Warm, caring, and enthusiastic about working with young children
• Passionate about play-based learning and inclusive education
• Able to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a team
