Job summary

YMCA Daisy Hill Outside School Hours Care is seeking energetic Educators to support children before school, after school and during school holidays. You will help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment, guiding structured and play-based activities for primary-aged children.

We offer a not-for-profit setting with community focus, professional development, and opportunities for career progression within the YMCA OSHC program.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions
• Run or assist with a variety of hands‑on activities during Vacation Care
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe, supported and inspired to grow
• Promote children's wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children's wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Daisy Hill Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you'll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you'll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.

We're a not-for-profit organisation with a strong community focus. We've recently been awarded government funding through the ECEC Worker Retention Grant that increases your take home pay and we are investing in the training, support and professional development of our Educators.
