Job summary

The Y Queensland invites energetic and caring Educators to join the Whites Hill Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis. You’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary‑aged children before school, after school and during school holidays, with a mix of structured and play-based activities that foster social learning and creativity.

Role involves supervising sessions, supporting Vacation Care, and promoting wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with Vacation Care activities.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe and supported.
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play.

About The Role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Whites Hill Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children
