The YMCA Albany Creek Outside School Hours Care in Queensland is hiring casual Educators to support before and after school care and Vacation Care. You’ll help create a safe, fun, and inclusive space for primary-aged children, promoting wellbeing, confidence, and social learning through play.

If you hold a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or are currently studying), have First Aid/CPR and a Blue Card, join a not-for-profit team that values training, development and a positive,

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar
• A great sense of fun, energy and creativity
• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)

• Run or assist with a variety of hands-on activities during Vacation Care

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Albany Creek Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.
