Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking a casual Educator to support Bacchus Marsh OSHC services. You will join our relief team, stepping into different services as needed, meeting new teams and making a positive impact for children through play.

Available shifts include before and after school, with extra hours during school holidays. We value passion for children, teamwork, and adherence to background-check requirements, while offering family-friendly and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with children.
• A team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (we will cover).
• State Working-with-Children check is required.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
• VIC Certificate-Level Educator qualification (in progress or completed).
• VIC Diploma-Level Educator qualification (in progress or completed).

Responsibilities

• Relieve OSHC services across Bacchus Marsh and surrounds as needed.
• Meet new teams and contribute to children's development through play.
• Deliver care with a focus on safety, inclusion, and engagement.
• Support families and school communities to foster learning outside the classroom.

Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today’s children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. As part of our Bacchus Marsh relief team, you’ll step in to support different OSHC services where you’re needed most, giving you the opportunity to meet new teams, build your industry experience, and make a real impact for children every day.

Available Shifts: Pick up shifts Monday through Friday before school 6am-9am shift and after school 2pm-6pm shift. Extra hours available during school holidays too! Minimum availability required for this position is 5 days per week.
