Job summary

Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane is seeking casual Educators for St Luke's Long Day Care & Capalaba, Capalaba QLD. The role supports play-based learning, wellbeing, and family engagement in a welcoming 78-place service.

Qualification paths include Certificate III or Diploma in ECE, with First Aid/CPR and Blue Card required. Opportunity for casual shifts to lead into part-time roles, with a strong commitment to staff development.

Qualifications

• Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 - Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded.
• A valid Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
