Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare – Sydney Southern Suburbs NSW is seeking enthusiastic Casual Educators to join St Patrick’s OSHC. This service provides Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care for up to 90 children with a flexible casual schedule across multiple sites.

You'll support children's wellbeing, plan engaging activities, build positive relationships with families and colleagues, and contribute to a safe, welcoming play-based environment.

Qualifications

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services, or willingness to work towards a qualification, is desirable.
• A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Passion for working with primary school-aged children in a play-based environment.
• Understanding of NQF, My Time Our Place, and the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork.

What You’ll Bring

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services, or willingness to work towards a qualification, is desirable but not essential. Equivalent qualifications recognised by ACECQA are also welcome.
• A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• A genuine passion for working with primary school-aged children in a play-based environment.
• An understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time, Our Place, the Early Years Learning Framework, and relevant legislation, or a willingness to learn.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to contribute to a supportive team.
