Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare is seeking a Casual Educator to support children before and after school and during vacation care at St Thomas Outside School Hours Care in Camp Hill, Brisbane. You will help create a nurturing, safe environment for up to 105 children and work with our CEEC team to provide quality programs.

The role emphasizes flexibility with shifts, opportunities for professional development, and a collaborative team culture within our service network in Queensland.

Qualifications

• Current Blue Card is required.
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, and relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Create a supportive and stimulating environment for primary school-aged children in before school, after school, and vacation care programs.
• Care for up to 105 children across programs.
• Maintain a safe and fun environment for children, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with CEEC and St Thomas’ Primary School teams to deliver quality care.
• Engage children with age-appropriate activities and excursions.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a Casual Educator at St Thomas Outside School Hours Care in Camp Hill.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and stimulating environment for primary school-aged children during before school care, after school care, and vacation care programs for up to 105 children.

Located within St Thomas' Primary School, our OSHC offers easy access to various facilities, including an outdoor multi-purpose court, indoor hall, grassed oval, and playgrounds. As a part of our team, you will contribute to a safe and fun environment that meets the diverse needs of children, families, and staff.

Job Requirements
