Job summary

Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane – St Joachim’s OSHC in Holland Park (Brisbane) is hiring a casual educator to help deliver high-quality school-age care. The role focuses on nurturing children, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and delivering engaging play-based programs.

The position offers flexible, casual shifts with opportunities to contribute to Vacation Care and work across CEEC’s 130+ services. No prior experience is required, and a passion for education and care is valued.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services is desirable but not essential.
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment.
• Knowledge of national quality framework, My Time Our Place is desirable.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

At St Joachim’s OSHC, Holland Park, we provide high-quality Before School Care (BSC), After School Care (ASC), and Vacation Care for up to 120 children.

The Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a Casual Educator to join our welcoming team at St Joachim’s OSHC, located in Holland Park (Brisbane CBD & Inner Suburbs).

You will be a passionate and dedicated educator who is committed to delivering high-quality care and creating meaningful experiences for children in a play-based environment.
