Job summary

Archdiocese of Brisbane's St Mary MacKillop OSHC in Birkdale is seeking a qualified educator to join a large, caring team supporting children from Prep to Year 6. Located on site at the Catholic Primary School grounds, we offer a welcoming, play-based environment and opportunities to participate in excursions.

You will hold a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services, have a Queensland Blue Card, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Hold a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA Equivalent).
• Holds a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment.
• Effective workplace communication skills.
• Afternoon availability desirable.

• Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment.
• Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all.

Job Requirements:

• Hold a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA Equivalent) - a range of study areas may be recognised including, behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation, and human welfare studies.
