Job summary

Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane is seeking casual OSHC Educators for All Saints OSHC in Albany Creek. You’ll support before/after school and vacation care for up to 195 children, with afternoon shifts (2:45pm–6:15pm) and occasional mornings (6:45am–8:45am).

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services is preferred but not essential
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Asthma and Anaphylaxis training or readiness to complete
• Child protection training (Geccko Course 1 & 2) is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, nurturing care for children before school, after school and during vacation care
• Create a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all children
• Design and deliver fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences
• Maintain positive working relationships with team members

We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated casual Educators to join our team at All Saints Outside School Hours Care in Albany Creek. Located on the grounds of All Saints Catholic Parish and Primary School, our vibrant community takes pride in offering outstanding before school, after school, and vacation care for up to 195 children. We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for local families.

We're seeking individuals with good availability, primarily working afternoons (2:45pm - 6:15pm), Monday to Friday, with occasional morning shifts (6:45am - 8:45am).

Job Requirements:

• Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent - desirable but not essential
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 - Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
• A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
• Effective workplace communication skills
