Job summary

Kool Beanz Academy on the Gold Coast is seeking an Assistant Educator to support educators in implementing EYLF and facilitating child-led discovery. You will build connections with families and the local community while contributing to high-quality early education.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or are working towards it, with current First Aid/CPR and Blue Card. A positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III / Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or working towards the qualification.
• Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates.
• Paid working with children check (Blue Card).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks/workload.
• Ability to demonstrate innovative and creative thinking.
• Enthusiastic, positive, fun and outgoing attitude.
• An understanding of EYLF.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships.

Working hours:

You must be available to work within the hours of 6.30am and 6.30pm Monday - Friday.
